Found a used Thomas & Friends Super Station at a garage sale and bought it for my two year old grandson. No trains came with it so I bought these. My grandson is riveted and loves seeing a different track layout every time he comes to visit.The description says they are made of wood but the ones I received are plastic, and a couple of reviewers said they were loud but the ones I received were not loud at all and surprisingly powerful going up rather steep hills.These trains are not as sturdy as Tonka Trucks so if your child or grandchild is still in the grabbing, smashing and throwing stage, consider waiting to buy these until the child is a little bit older.

Just bought this as a gift for a two-year-old that adores Thomas the tank and his friends. It looks very nice and heavy duty. I can’t comment on how it works because I haven’t seen it in action yet.

I was a hero for getting him these years! He loved them! They are good for the price, however the extended and extended timeliness to get them meant they came in about a month late!!

We got these to use on our Brio train set. Our 2 years old is obsessed. These have extended playtime and made an old toy new again. Batteries last a long time too. *warning* don’t get them stuck in mama’s long hair. Yikes!
