It’s great for my son. My dad and I had one of these and it was amazing so I wanted to share with my son. Mine as a kid was very well built. But the quality of this is ok, at best. First, as others noted the cars’ connectors to the track are ropelike things that you constantly have to align front to back and adjust to a “45 degree angle” for the electric connection to make. Mine as a kid had metal connectors. My son is too young to get the idea. Since the cars run off the track (partly user error, ya know, a kid) they collect debris from the floor and have to be wiped off. Second, also noted in other reviews, the lights on the police car quit working after 2 hours ?โโ๏ธ. Still happy with it though, as long as nothing else comes up.

The media could not be loaded. ย The first impression – Comes in a nice colorful packaging with everything well arranged. I am surprised by the pricing of this product & glad they could pull this off at such a low price. I liked this slot car race set with a track for the enormous fun that comes along with it and the controller works great. Response in this car functionality works fine and is easy to use. Build quality is great and the car looks nice too. For the price, I am satisfied with it overall & I can recommend this as it delivers a lot for the price. My 2 cents below:Pros:- Races are real and this car toy set does a lot. It is a great toy for 2 players racing & is definitely entertaining- It is super stable while doing races since they are attached magnetically- 2 modes to power these. Comes with a power adapter that connects to the power supply directly or you can use 8 AA batteries- Both car and the track look very great quality- Car has inbuilt lights that keep the kid engaged that power ON when they are on the run- Cars are metallic and look very solid & durable- Super reasonably priced- They do bundle some stickers to make the components look more good as per your DIY preferences- It comes well packed and can be a great gifting option to teens who are into racingCons:- The most difficult part for me was the track assembly. It definitely takes time to figure out all the parts. The manufacturer could have included more detailed assembly instruction steps. However, I would suggest referring to the assembly video that is available in this product listing which made it easier to follow- I wish the controller had a reverse option too for the racing cars- Controller could have been wireless & also made fancier

Itโs what you should expect for a cheaper slot racer track. The track really struggles to stay attached once the track is completely put together. Two cars are different speeds, if you pick the right lanes you can go full speed with no problems around the corners. Adds on becomes problems. Cars can not use the ramp no matter how fast you go. The railing around the corners tend to get in the way and stop cars when they go by. Kind of expected it for the price.

My son loves his new race car track. I purchased this for him to keep him busy and he loves it. I am so happy this keeps him off his gadgets and gets him to enjoy a competitive game off the screen. This game is designed to be a competitive race with two players. This is why there is 2 of everything (2 tracks, 2 cars, and 2 remotes). The track is 20 ft long with a remote control that adjusts speed. So just like in real life, my son is learning when to speed up to win against me, or when to slow down so the car doesnโt fall off the track (turns mainly).Itโs pretty cool to see the cars go upside down like a roller coaster when it loops around. The tracks are sturdy and connect well and have magnets so the cars stay on the tracks. The overall kit is high quality and filled with details, such as the tracks having arrows indicating north or south or consisting of multiple lanes. And, it’s convenient that the remote controls donโt need any batteries, and are charged with an adapter. This is fun for all kids and for most age groups.

First off, it’s so fun. I didn’t have a slot car track growing up, so when I discovered very affordable tracks on Amazon, I figured I had to get a set “for the kids.” Haha, dads with their toys.Eventually got the track set up over about 20 minutes. There’s a lot of pieces, and all have to be assembled fairly carefully (clicked in tightly, not bent while assembling, etc) so I did most of that myself. Especially with the two loops, I had to refer to the instructions and the pictures several times to get it right.Once it was going, it was really fun! My kids (son 2 and daughter 7) loved controlling the cars. Right off we pulled the guardrails off, since the outside track car couldn’t get by without hitting it and falling off the track.Sometimes, the cars went perfectly and you could just hold the triggers (or back button) and they’d go forever with no problems. Other times, the outside track was fine, and the inside track would fly off the curve right after the loops–maybe because it’s a little tighter than the outside track? The controller seems to be a digital control–I couldn’t seem to find different speeds or an ability to slow down around curves, or at least not noticeably. Also if the two cars were exactly side by side on a curve, they would bump and both fall off. And sometimes the bottom connectors would have to be re-adjusted afterwards. It was so much fun though. Afterwards, everything went right back in the box neatly with no problems. I thought a set like this would have been $200, but this was so worth the money. I’m sure my kids will want it back out next weekend as well.

Itโs fun. Easy to assemble. My son loves it. One car lights stopped working, and the other is too slow, remote is pretty much full throttle, I donโt see any speed change

I got this race set for my 5 year old grandson and he loves it. Unfortunately one of the controllers didn’t work so he couldn’t race anyone right away. I contacted the company through Amazon and they were great with their quick replies and replacement of the whole set. Back to racing !!
