   My almost 3 year old is really into Hot Wheels cars, and I ordered this so he could have a place to drive them. He is really into sharks too. The parts are a light weight plastic and the fit on parts is loose. You cannot pick it up and move it and have the parts stay together. The cup for hiding ice water does not click and comes dislodged easily. You need a parent to hold the set down so it doesn’t move all over the place as he tries to drive the cars. The shark mouth mechanism is shoddy, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. This is when I as the parent is launching the car, works even worse if it is the child. At least you can push a button to leave the mouth open tho. Larger hot wheels like vans do not fit. I ordered an optional extra color shifter car with my purchase and received an ambulance. It doesn’t fit of course. Guess which car my son keeps wanting to drive thru the shark road? Since I specifically added this within the order as an advertised extra accessory to accompany this product, it is more irritating that it doesn’t fit. You need extra track (not included) to really use this, that’s fine it is not included but this could have been made more clear and I would have ordered at same time. I am not happy with this product and would return except son does like it – thou he gets frustrated due to the poor quality.

   My grandson was thrilled with this gift and played with it for a long time each time. He finds it fascinating. I definitely would recommend this gift.

   The hot wheel cars do change colors, however, the water has to be extra cold. We used ice water. My nephew was pleased. However, it comes packaged in a tacky brown box so its not really presentable for gift giving. Overall I was satisfied with this purchase but I think the price was steep. $20 bucks for 5 cars.

   Cute product. Kiddo loves it BUT be warned it does NOT come in a amazon box or warn you like usual that it doesnt come covered. Surprise ruined but he’s happy so it’s not a big deal. It’s smaller than those huge sets which I love.
