Our son asked for a [Bruder] combain for Christmas. I picked this, but when I received it I had second thoughts about it…it was quite large and the front attachment had somewhat sharp “teeth”…I was contemplating to exchange it for chopper. In the end, I am glad I did not because our son loves this combain! He likes that it is exactly like the combains he has seen on the fields and in the books. He loves to drive it around, lower a lift up the header and “remove the grain” to trailer. There are small parts– the red wheel from header fell off and two small circular gears fell out (these gears allow the red part turn when header is in low position and “cutting” crops. Easy to fix, but for now I removed the two small parts and installed the red part just for looks. I wish there was a way actually to get some grass processed into the body of the tractor and thrown out in the back. The only con is the price…I wish this toy was cheaper. All in all, I am happy to have one-piece toy at home (not another constructor with thousands of pieces;) that my son likes.

I was hesitant to buy this piece, but similar John Deere combines top out at over $100 and I couldn’t justify that for a toy, no matter how much my almost six year old wanted it. He has played with it for over two months, as well as several other little boys ranging from 18 months to 7-9 years old. It is still working. The head attachement still works. No broken parts. The small white plastic pieces that you install for the handrails, ladders, etc. don’t stay on well. They have been pulled off so much that I just put them all in a bag. The boys couldn’t care less. I would buy it again, and I have six kids. I have started buying wooden toys for Christmas because I was so sick of cheap plastic farm toys breaking over and over and tying string, paper clips, etc. onto them to keep them together. This was worth the money, and they love how big it is. The spinning head is super cool.

The media could not be loaded. Very durable. 4-year old child loved this modular toy. Combine harvester blade can be taken off, and when it is lowered and moved across the floor, the blades will roll automatically. The blades are not sharp but make sure to check minimum age for this toy.

This toy was bought for our 3yo. We live on a farm. Within seconds of putting it together he was in tears bc the header keeps falling off. If you so much as bump it , it falls off. This thing is so expensive and they couldn’t make the header stay on better?? Also the header doesn’t spin on carpet. It only turns on hard floors. This is one of those toys I want to hide bc it leads to frustration and tears every 3 seconds. I’m not sure it was really meant to be a toy to actually be played with. Way too expensive for that!

Our 4 year old son loves his new big combine harvester. He tells us all about the wheat threshing implement and how he is harvesting the crops.

Overall this is a great combine. Few things I noticed though is the front plow does not stay on easily and doesn’t spin on carpet, only on hardwood type floor. My 3 1/2 year old loves it but my 1 1/2 year old takes the little plastic parts off. Overall it could be made better and would not recommend for children under 3.

As far as I know he was excited to receive this for his b-day. Amazon makes shopping so easy for family who live far away.

Bought this for my grandson after seeing it on a children’s program. He loves it.
