   We’ve purchased at least a half dozen other Green Toys products, and we love every single one of them. So when my 20month old daughter recently became fascinated by trains the Green Toys page was the first place I went to find her a train toy, and I was so excited about this set that also comes with a book! The train itself is durable and sturdy, and the two bear conductors are so cute. And it’s extra great that these bears fit in their other vehicles too! The book itself is a really cute story and has become a favorite of everyone in the house!I really can’t say enough how much I love this set. The quality of it all is top notch, and the story is so much fun and beautifully illustrated. 12/10, would (and do) recommend this product to everyone!

   Can’t say enough about how great this set is! We gave it to our 5 year old son in his Christmas eve box, which was train and bathtime themed. Our tradition is to have a themed gift on Christmas eve that has at least a book and a pajama and one or two other things that ho along with the theme. This set was used as a bath toy and the book was to read after bath, before bed. The toy may not be marketed as a bath toy, but it does say it’s dishwasher safe, so how could a bath be harder on it than a dishwasher? I gave it a shot and could not be happier! Not too big, not too small, it floats, he scoops and pours water with the tender car. He drives it along the bottom under the water, no scratches to the tub or my son. Dries out really well, plus has that added peace of mind that I can always pop it in the dishwasher. And the book is sooo cute! He loves the rhyming, and that he sees his own toy in the story. He calls the bears by name from the book, when he plays in the tub. The storyline is even helpful, because he struggles with changes in his routines and the story is about how trying something different can be wonderful!All around great purchase! Environment friendly, kid approved, multipurpose, teaches great lessons, and priced well!

   I’m so glad I bought this set for my toddler. He was 1 1/2 when we got it, and it’s still going strong a year later. The book is fun to read – over and over and over. Kody and Dot are lovable both in the book and as the plastic figurines. He takes the train and the bears into the bath to play with even though they’re not “bath” toys. Since we bought this set, we’ve also acquired the Green Toys ferry boat that comes with two cars, the tractor trailer that hauls three cars, and the tugboat. They all go in the bath! My son loves to see all of his toys reflected in the pictures of the book (great marketing strategy, I know, but I don’t mind). Plus I love knowing that they’re made of recycled plastic.

   My husband gifted our 9 month old, for Christmas a bit earlier then expected. 100% safe is important the fact that the train is manageable for age groups and has a book to stimulate the imagination is fantastic. The train set was just what I wanted for him, being that every thing goes in his mouth, no pealing of rubber paint toxins yes they smell new for a while ,but we can manage. I am proud to have a toy AMERICAN MADE, @ a reasonable price also helps that carbon foot print. I am out to collect all GREEN TOYS sets of toys for my son till he is old enough to make his own selection. We have invested in the cargo ferry, school bus, fire truck, tugboat to name a few. Love GREEN TOYS

   This particular purchase came with one of the engine wheels not staying on. I believe this is a rare manufacturing fluke for this company (it happens), as I have purchased dozens of their toys and this is the first time of having anything wrong with them (the spindle was just too smooth without a good enough lip to hold the wheel on well). I contacted Amazon and had the replacement within 3 days and it is in perfect condition as expected. (The return was a snap by just dropping it off on my way out to a UPS store, and them just scanning the bar code off my phone that Amazon sent me for the return.) These Green Toys are absolutely the best, hands down! What’s not to love? The minute you recieve one you realize the substantial and durable quality of them. They are easy to clean and I literally can not fathom any saftey hazards whatsoever with these toys (other than if the are used as a projectile, but that is the case with most toys that are not fabric, so obviously if there is a baby in the bunch with some older toddlers or so, you should still have your eyes on the kids). I love that they are all dishwasher safe for sterilizing. We have decided to keep all the Green Toys in a toy box in our main livingroom for 2 reasons. When we have company with children or playmates visiting, they can all just dive into these toys and we don’t have the aggravation of my grandson’s other toys being dragged out with multiple pieces, and those are not all small child safe, and we can not just throw them in the dishwasher afterwards as we can these. These are literally worry free toys when children are visiting (other than the aforementioned throwing, or maybe banging over the head, so yes you still must parent as we should be anyway). Second, after dinner, when there is just a small window of time for bath and playtime before bed, these are hassle free and the only toys we let him drag out because they are simple and easy pickup. BONUS, they are MADE IN THE USA, and of completely recycled materials. I have not seen that many quality toys like these other than ones made in the 1940’s or so, where good craftsmanship (as these are) mattered, even in a toy. We have at least 2 dozen of these toys and they have become an awesome gift item especially when they go on sale, which is often. They are literally the PERFECT toys!

   My daughter loves the train and the little bears. The book is a nice addition. I wish the bears looked a little different from each other so it’d be easier to match them to the characters in the books.My 1 year old loves playing with the train daily so overall it’s a win. I’ve put up the book until she’s older since the pages are paper.

   We love trains. This one even has two people. We love the recycled toys. We like that they don’t have any paint or stickers that come off. They look simple to adults, but kids don’t care.
