This is the second Hot Wheels track I have ordered for my son. The other one he has takes up a lot of room in his bedroom. He really enjoys playing with it, but you have to press on a lever manually to get the cars started on the track. So the harder you push the faster they will go. After a while he gets tired and doesn’t want to play with it anymore. This new set is a completely different design. It’s more vertical, so it doesn’t take up as much floor space, which is a good thing. And it uses batteries to power the booster to keep the cars moving around the track. My son loves this track much more than the other one since it requires almost no effort on his part. He just puts the cars on the track and watches them go. You do need 4 D batteries to power the booster, so be sure to have those on hand since no batteries come in the box. Also, only one car comes in the box, so make sure you have extra Hot Wheels cars to really enjoy this track.

I got this item for my son, though I have not given it to him yet. I put it together in just a few minutes at night, it was super simple. All these tracks seem to have a letter/number system where you basically just click together parts with matching letters and numbers. It means the whole thing is pretty quick to click together. The instructions were very straightforward. There is also a free side to the track so you can click in other track pieces that you may already own from other hot wheels products and integrate this crash track into a larger Hot Wheels track.I would like to mention that it takes 4 D batteries. I don’t know a lot of people that have 4 spare D batteries around the house so I would suggest purchasing batteries when you get this item.Once you get the batteries in it is really fun to play with. I spent a few minutes after I built it playing with it without my son. I can’t wait to give him this gift, he loves his Hot Wheels and I expect this will be a hit.

This was a gift for our six year old grandson. He loved putting it together, needed only a little help, and once it was assembled, he was fascinated for quite some time. He has other Hot Wheels toys, so was familiar with the set-up protocol and he was very excited to get and play with this set. These are well made toys that can withstand the rough play of kids. They are, after all, made for kids! It was a hit with our six year old!

Haven’t opened it yet. I’m sure the track is fine and my child will enjoy it but this is not the track that he wanted or what we were trying to order.

My boys love there Hot Wheel tracks and we own quite a lot of different sets. This Hot Wheels Track Set was definitely a hit!It actually doesnβt take up a ton of room width wise which I really appreciate, but is is a few inches over 2 feet tall. As far as how well it works, it does pretty good. Not all the cars can make it to the top of the launch hill and you have to figure out which cars work the best on the track. But a lot of sets areLike that so itβs not a huge deal. Overall fun!

My 4 year old daughter loves this set. It was simple to set up and use. It works well. Batteries don’t last very long. It is a little work to take it apart so we leave it set up all the time.

The motor that shoots the cars can only handle the light plastic cars, any of the hotwheels with even a little metal are too heavy. Also if more than one car is added at a time close together the motor won’t launch the second car. Honestly, my son thinks it’s ok but quickly got bored when he couldn’t put more than one car in it.Would not buy again..

Seems like only very specific cars will work well on this track. Many of them flip over, or donβt have enough contact patch for the rubber accelerator to grab them. Cars that you think would be fast wonβt even make it up the ramp or around the first corner. Then half the ones that will make it through the accelerator and corner at the top will lose speed at the sharp bottom turn. The bottom track that leads to the accelerator is too skinny for a lot of cars to fit on as well. Seems like a lot of mistakes, could have been a lot of fun.
