   This review is for the Deep Dive Submarine (specifying since it shares reviews with the Rescue Rig).This thing is pretty great. The articulated arms are a lot of fun to pose and the tools on the ends are nice.I brought the sub to the beach to test its’ aquatic abilities. Jurassic World human figures will sit very well inside the sub and are very secure, even when the sub dives and gets tossed around. You would probably have to throw the sub into the water multiple times to dislodge them from their seats. The floating is a tad finicky – the sub tended to pitch forward and would often end up upside down – but in the sub’s defense it was windy and there were lots of small waves on the lake to disrupt the floating. I was not able to get it to fully sink even with the center and both side tanks filled with water, but it did get noticeably less buoyant and even more likely to tip upside-down. (EDIT: This is because I failed to notice there’s a plug on the back that, when removed, allows water to fill the base of the sub as well. My mistake!)The little blue light is a pretty basic feature, but a nice one. In daylight you probably won’t even notice it, but in a dark room it looks very nice and the interior looks really cool lit up by the blue light. The light is insulated well and worked perfectly even after being submerged.Probably my biggest quibble is that the lid to the sub doesn’t latch into place very well and opens extremely easily (don’t try carrying it by the lid, it’ll open), but since the center of the sub is designed to fill with water I guess that’s by design. It was kinda fun making the latch open and close to dunk the pilot or quickly eject the water.This sub does not come with any accessories, dinosaurs, or human figures, you’ll need to get those separately.Overall this is probably one of the better vehicles from this line of toys. It’s sturdy, chunky, and well-made, and it’s enjoyable to pose and mess around with both on dry land and in the water. Despite the small drawbacks, the toy remains a lot of fun, and that’s what’s most important, so I give it a five. Pair it with the Mosasaurus figure!

   It doesn’t submerge under water when tubes are full of water. Other than that, it’s a good toy.

   My son is OBSESSED with Jurassic Park. He has wanted this since Christmas. Amazon finally has it for a reasonable price that isnt jacked up and outrageous and after the first time playing with it in the pool it does not work. The batteries and wiring on the inside are most definitely not water proof like the product states. I honestly want my money back. I am typically not one to complain and I look at toys as materialistic and replaceable when my kids break them and they are upset. However I am not happy with this product at all. I unfortunately bought it and had it for a while because it was for my sons Easter basket and can no longer return this plastic junk. Because that is literally what it is. I should have questioned whether it was actually waterproof in the first place since Matchbox has zero images of it actually submerged in water on Amazon. If you buy this which (I obviously suggest you DON’T) do not put it in water. It is a big fat dirty lie and no body likes a liar.
