My husband purchased this for our 4 year old grandson to play with at our house. He loves to play in our gravel drive, hauling rocks and dumping them. This truck is the perfect size…not too big, not too small. The roll bar is perfect for using to move the truck along and the bed which lifts and rotates works great. Bruder makes a sturdy toy that is always a hit with our grandsons. Our 2 yr old grandson loved this so much we bought one for him to take home and another for our 4 yr old to take home. Highly recommend this one !

Some of their trucks are a little more flimsy than others (probably on account of their being exact replicas). Some of ours don’t hold up as well as the Cat trucks (the bulldozer, crane, skid steer etc) but this one looks pretty sturdy. The frame of the dumper is just skinny plastic. I feel like one too many throws in the toy bin and one might snap. Which sucks because that’s a part you can’t replace.I will say, I bought a few replacement parts for other Bruder trucks through their website and they were reasonably priced, the site was easy to use and they arrived quickly. That made me want to keep buying their products.

My grandson (7) LOVES Bruder toys because of their size, durability and life-like construction movements. For the last 3-4 years we have bought nothing but Bruder 1:16 scale toys for him. I bought the Bruder JCB Ausa Mini-dumper to add to his growing collection of Bruder toys; however, even though the scale model indicates it’s a 1:16, it is VERY small (about 1/4 of the size of his other 1:16 scale toys) & doesn’t appear as durable as his other Bruder heavy constructed Bruder toys either. I also bought the Micro Excavator 8010 at the same time because it also indicated it’s 1:16 scale, but just like the mini-dumper, it is small and doesn’t appear very durable. I bought it for his upcoming birthday and I know he is going to be as disappointed as I was when I opened the package. I am very unhappy with Bruder right now, 1:16 should mean 1:16.

This was a gift for my nephew. I loved all the moving parts! I think his father was much more excited about it at this point in time (he’s 2.5, but carries other small toys around in it). Will definitely buy more from Bruder in the future.

This dump truck is the perfect size for my 2 year old grandson to manage. It is made from sturdy, quality plastic that I believe will hold up under rough play. He gravitates toward the bright orange color. The roll bar situated on the cab makes it easy to grab and carry. This is the second Bruder construction toy I have bought and have not been disappointed.
